Sew It Together
Sew It Together is a cozy, inclusive sewing and craft space located in NE Minneapolis that is designed to help you learn, create, and reconnect with the art of making.
Whether you’re brand-new to a sewing machine or looking to mend, alter, or reimagine your favorite clothing and household wares, we’re here to support you. Come explore skills that empower sustainability, self-expression, and confidence—one stitch at a time.
We offer open shop throughout the week and we aim for it to be a place to come learn, create and hang out with others. Bring your own projects, clothing, ideas to mend, alter, create in shop. We have sewing machines, sergers and notions for you to utilize and learn from in session. Also, as a community we want to walk you through your project while you create. If you want to check out open shop and the community but don’t have a project, you can create a tote bag or check out a craft with some assistance and for less than what a full class costs.
Specific classes are for in depth learning and curiousity. We offer a basic class where you can learn how to use a sewing machine and serger while creating a tote bag you get to bring home. We also have a denim repair class to get in depth experience with guidance, as well as some other classes to learn mending and alterations.
You can book for open shop or a class HERE.
All of our notions fabric and all of our machines are donated and second hand goods. Sometimes we have machines available for sale. We aim to keep things out of landfills and reuse what we can! We would love to be a waste free shop.
We are adding more analog projects, activities in February 2026!
